This image shows where I am up to at the moment; I have completed modelling the low poly character, have set the lighting and the stage where i will animate my character. I have just a skateboard to model then all the modelling is complete. The next task ist to create, rig and skin the model to the bones so animation can begin. As I will be creating the bones from scratch this might take a week or two, leaving four or five weeks for the animation. I am keeping to my schedule that I set out for my self and am happy with the standard of work that I am creating. The future tasks are daunting but there are several tutorials out there in books and on the internet to sufficiently help with these tasks.

Looking good what you have achieved so far - and on schedule.
ReplyDeletemake sure that you rig the character well - take time over this stage and it will pay off as you will be able to pose the character better, and the animating stage will be smoother.
